Giving Back & Contributing To The Future

Just four times a month for one hour a week will make a difference in a child's life that will last a lifetime!

  • Mentors will serve as role models and tutors providing academic and social support to empower and motivate students to succeed.
  • Mentors will boost self-confidence and self esteem.
  • Mentoring facilitates mutually beneficial relations between mentor and student.
  • The mentoring process involves the community and the school working together to empower students.

Three Key Essentials for the Role of a Mentor:

1.  Work with individual students.

2.  Be a positive and supportive role model.

3.  Sensitive to the student's needs.
